Gladie's Deli is named for my mother, Gladys. This gesture is to honor her. It is my way of giving back to her a small measure of what she has always given me...loving support and inspiration to achieve honorably.
I could not figure out a name that would give credit to everyone in my family, but I want to tell you something about them, just the same.
My father, Henry, has talked to me about being an entrepreneur and guided me in that direction. So thanks dad, for getting me started in the deli business. You have encouraged me to dream big and supported me in everything I have ever tried. Because of that constant encouragement and support, Gladie's was born.
My brothers, Mike and Jeff, have always expressed confidence in my ability to achieve my dreams. They have pushed me to move forward and not to be afraid to take risks. Thanks, Mike and Jeff, for helping me to take this giant step into a new venture. I wouldn't have done it without your brotherly "shove".
